The Strokes, New Record
Considering The Strokes new EP as an advance for their new record, what an ugly recording they are about to make, Future Present Past is a mediocre EP from what was once one of the most promising band from New York, but after their debut record in 2001, these guys went completely unsure about which musical direction to take, making some totally unfocused pointless recordings the band went completely lost until their 2013 Comedown Machine, a record which fully embraced the warm sounds of the 70s that Daft Punk and Parrell Williams made fashionable again, all of a sudden, the Strokes sounded like they had regained their muse once again, and a deeper exploration into this rich territory was to be expected, but if their new record FPP is going to sound this way, the band sounds completely burned out again, left without new ideas and sounding boring again, hope we are wrong and the band is able to recover from this imminent disaster...
