The Fascintern Hunger for Global Power
The
Fascintern Hunger for Global Power

“Fascism is a religious
concept.”
Benito Mussolini
On the Washington
Post, today, Anne Applebaum call this the Populist International, in a clear
reference to the infamous Communist International founded by Lenin, an
organization created in order to advocate communism around the world and
overthrow the “bourgeoise”, it was also called the Third Communist, or
Comintern, as an official organization, Comintern disappeared, but as a shadow lurking
behind power, it stayed for a long time, perhaps not as a whole, perhaps just
as an influence, you can´t say the so called Sao Paulo Forum wasn’t a form of
Comintern, led by Fidel Castro, the Forum was a new organization that pretended
to give guidance to a “new wave” of left wing governments in Latin America, we
tend to forget history lessons and Comintern took place in America all over
again, Castro took advantage of young new “socialist” apostles in order to
build a new empire to survive his dictatorial enterprise in Cuba after the
demise of the USSR, Castro was a wise man and learned from Lenin about “revolution”
and how inequity in Latin America was the perfect soil to start all over a new
sort of socialist union, he created strong ties to socialists in Venezuela,
Brazil, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay in order
to seize power in the region, guerrilla warfare fell out of fashion after the
Soviets stopped financing them so Castro and company brought to life a new
strategy based on populism, promise people what they want, if inequity and poverty
are the problem, promise people equity and a better redistribution of the
resources.
Populism was the
big weapon used by the Sao Paulo Forum, it helped them transcend the violent
past of communism and create a new sort of modern “socialism” called Socialismo
del Siglo 21, which used China as its best investor, China, a rising regional
power was hungry for raw materials in order to feed its fast internal growth,
America Latina provided it and that was sold to people as solid steady growth,
China´s hunger for oil created big demand and money flew in large quantities to
Venezuela and Brazil, food demand also grew big as China rising middle class
was in full expansion, and that helped also Argentina, among others in the
region, Socialismo del Siglo 21 was sold as the next big thing, but again, the
reality was that Populism was the big tool for this new sort of “Latin Amercian
Comintern” to happen.
But in the case of
Latin America, populists never passed from giving money in many unwise ways, there
wasn’t a lot of investment on infrastructure and as Chinas hunger started to
slow down, the big bonanza started to fade away, Brazil and Argentina’s left
wing governments were loudly defeated, and the whole region started to
gravitate towards the right or center wing, even Fidel Castro successor, Raúl,
started looking for new alliances with the USA and looking just as China, to
Singapore as Cuba´s desired future, but the lesson to the world was quickly
taken from another side, giving it a new and menacing twist, as populism proved
to be the right too in order to seize power in a quick way, taking advantage of
people´s fear and desires in order to exploit them.
Mike Lofgren on
The Atlantic call it the Alt-Right International, again, it’s not an official
organizational, but it isn’t so hard to slowly start discovering the ties,
political parties all over the world slowly starting to align on two basis, “A
New Far Right” and Populism, as much as the PRI in México and Peronism in
Argentina were models for the populist Socialismo del Siglo 21, now they are
being used as along its more older antecessor, Fascism, two key pieces in this
truly scary domino, first Silvio Berlusconi in Italy and then Valdimir Putin in
Rusia, I consider Berlusconi the first to find the formula “Financial+Media+Political
Power”, and to exploit it fully, next came Vladimir Putin who finally gave it
its face as a way to achieve and preserve power in the long run, by establishing a sort of oligarchist and kleptocratic system, something hard
to do within a democratic system, explaining thus the fall of Berlusconi and
the fertile ground on the chaotic Rusia of Boris Yeltsin, but as Stalin and
Castro new, this waves of fascism, authoritarianism and totalitarianism can’t
survive as isolated movements, they partners in crimes, or in the case of the
USSR, satellite countries, Putin as an ex member of the KGB surely knows this
well, and after the collapse of the USSR, the KGB knows well how to move its
money around the world, backing political parties all over the world, event trying
to corrode politic systems within the European Union.
For years there
has been the suspicion that the Kremlin is financially backing political
parties within the European Union, it has been known to exist certain ties
between France´s National Front, the UK´s UKIP, Hungary´s Jobbik and even
Greece´s Golden Dawn, and certain Russian banks close to the Kremlin, even
Donald Trump´s campaign has been under suspicion of Kremlin´s financial aid, possibly
the biggest threat from this sort of Fascitern, a shadow organization that
pretends to push a right wing agenda based on conservatism and a “back to glory
days”, just like Putin pretends in Russia, bringing back the glory days of the
Soviet Union, and just like Donald Trump pretends by “Making America Great
Again”, this Fascist- Populist union of sort is being disguised as a “New Right”
wing movement, sometimes called “Alt Right”, but is really far, very far in
fact from already known right wing movements that do believe in democracy, tolerance,
free markets and individuality, as they are seeking to, in full populist
fashion, exploit fear (as in Italy and Poland), hatred (as in Greece and
France),ignorance, (as in the USA), racism (as in Germany and the Netherlands) and xenophobia (as in Hungary and Austria),
you can see it in political parties within the European Union in the Netherlands,
in Hungary, in Poland, in Greece, in France, in Austria and in Germany, and out
of it in the UK, you can call them conservatives, or neoconservatives, when
what they are looking for is the whole abolition of the current system.
In the beginning it
was communism trying to bring together mutual support in order to “overthrow”
the “bourgeoise”, it was Lenin and Trotsky getting close to Rosa Luxemburg in
Germany, then it was Nazism, with Adolf Hitler looking for support first in Austria,
then in Italy and Japan, then the USSR and the whole Eastern Bloc and Cuba, and
finally Castro creating the Sao Paulo Forum, nowadays, these next wave of
hungry power seekers is led by Russia and is quickly expanding all over the
world, tomorrow we will know if it at least could be contained or is the beginning
of a new that will bring havoc to democracy and freedom, rather to “bring back
the glory days”.
