Haunted by the investigations that gained more intensity after the firing of James Comey as director of the FBI (who was asked for “complete loyalty” by Trump), Trump tried to let things cool down by getting once again on a trip, this time he made his "world religion tour 2017" by visiting Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican, in SA he closed on of the biggest weapon arrangements in recent USA history, not bad for a guy who a couple of years ago accused the SA regime of human right violations and terrorism, Trump tried to appease Netanyahu, Israel prime minister´s anger after supposed confidential information was shared by Trump to the Russians in a recent visit to the White House, Trump also made an uncomfortable visit to Pope Francis who made no visible effort to hide his disgust at the Donald and who only opted to hand him a letter about environmental conscience.

Next stop was a visit to the NATO leaders and to the G7 leaders reunion, in which Trump also made negative vibes flow, his despotic gestures among his NATO allies raised considerable concern, and is remarkably disturbing to notice how Trump somehow looked more comfortable with the Russians, the Saudis, Turkey's dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Egypt's dictator Al Sisi and Philippines brutal authoritarian Rodrigo Duterte, than with his European democratic allies, he pushed in a rude manner Luxembourg's prime minister and it was also embarrassing to look at Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán as Trump's Chihuahua dog jumping, running and smiling in circles around his USA idol, also we were witness to Macron's highly symbolic handshake with Trump, as finally both political outsiders stood on each side of a new political landscape, face to face after defeating in singular ay the political elites on each countries, finally, as Trump returned to the USA to brag about his triumphant tour and the "fantastic" advances and benefits generated by it, in contrast German chancellor Angela Merkel made remarks about a new sense of distrust on the USA-UK--European Union relationship, making a call for unity within Europe in order to rely on themselves more than in anyone else, tough times are ahead for Europe as elections in the UK will happen next week and May's Brexit fascination could still make some deep damage to the European dream, leaving Merkel and Macron as the big hopes for Europe's future in the middle of growing authoritarianism in Poland and Hungary, the geopolitics advances of Turkey and Russia, and the still existent economic crisis not solved yet.

Now Trump cannot sing victory yet, as new accusations against his son in law Jared Kushner have started to surface, now Kushner is being investigated by the FBI, accused of establishing secret channels of communication again with Russia, and also to consider the apparent favoritism Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump have received on their personal business from China, a new scandal that continues getting too close to the Donald, as some voices calling impeachment are starting to be heard more often, a burden so heavy on the egomaniacal Trump that could even end up in a situation close to “Nixonian” consequences, Trump managed a big crisis by running away, but the previous crisis and a new one is still waiting for him, as Comney is about to declare as witness on the government´s investigation on Trump´s ties to the Kremlin, the storm isn’t over for Trump yet.
