Watching Colony
Watching
Colony
I started watching
the Colony TV Series yesterday, ironically a day after Donald Trump announced
the presidential executive orders to build his infamous “Border Wall”, and I
say ironically because in Colony there is also an impressive wall, a wall to
contain Los Angeles population during a mysterious military occupation, Josh
Holloway, Sawyer from the Lost TV series is back as the main character, not as
magnetic as his Lost character, and Peter Jacobson, Dr. Chris Taub from House
MD, Jacobson´s performance is electrifying at times, growing a lot from his
house days.
Colony main attraction
to me, is its portrayal of a dystopian future, a wall that ironically on
Trump´s age, I guess is California governor Jerry Brown the one who would like
to build a wall to keep California progressive nature away from Trump´s
authoritarian nature, another high point in this TV Series is the return of the
great Movie and TV director, Argentinean Juan José Campanella, an astonishing
director behind the monumental The Secret in Their Eyes and some of the best
chapters in House MD, making Colony an even more mind blowing experience,
another great TV Series that runs the risk of being surpassed by reality in the
age of Trump, it´s not as enigmatic as Lost, but I highly recommend it
