The Sun Will Shine in Argentina
“When you win, you
don't get carried away. But if you go step by step, with confidence, you can go
far.”

Argentina
has a golden chance on November 22, the chance to make a new historic turn and become
the starting point to change the whole face of America, a chance to defeat that
“Socialismo del Siglo XXI” that dilapidated the richness of the natural
resources and got crazy spending lots of money in the middle of the raw
materials bonanza, America should consider a whole new different strategy, as America
enters a new and difficult stage next year, Mauricio Macri the right wing
candidate has, in case he wins a tough road ahead, as he must demonstrate that
there is life in Argentina beyond “Peronism” (as in Mexico we have to demonstrate
that there is life after the “PRI” and “Revolution”), he must regain people´s
trust in democracy, especially the young, and put special attention to
corruption, an issue that for example in Guatemala, after people´s nuisance
towards common politician, has put power on the hands of an unexperienced
comedian, Jimmy Morales.
Argentina
has the chance to bury once again the shadow of Peronism, this time represented
by the Kichnerism after more than a decade of it, a populist left wing
government that has buried Argentina's prosperity and competitiveness with an irresponsible
and malicious patronage system, wasting the country reserves in social programs
created to increase society dependence on the government, weakening the country
competitive side and isolating them from the rest of the world, in November 22,
if the Argentinean people turn their back on populist Kichnerism, major events
will happen in quick succession ending finally with a big part of the populist
tide that weakened the country and that contributed to our economic
backwardness.
That
opportunistic left wing that seized power in Latin America after the fall of
the USSR, taking Brazil and Venezuela as its key points to build on its advance, that foolishly took China's impressive growth
as a lifesaver, exchanging oil and raw
materials in order to financially back up it's political maneuvers designed by
none other than Fidel Castro, Lula Da
Silva and Hugo Chavez, that left, today looks like it is on its final
stages, with sudden Cuba change of
plans, looking to become a dictatorship
South Asia style, with Brazilian
president Dilma Rousseff in the middle of a big political crisis after the
Petrobras corruption scandals, and the
Venezuela government of Nicolas Maduro,
Chavez' successor falling apart and becoming something close to a
nightmarish version of Cuba, it seems
that more than ever, this is the moment for a big turn of direction, that is if
left wing candidate Mauricio Macri is able to defeat Scioli (the candidate and
heir of Kichnerism) and becomes the next president of Argentina.
Is imperative
for Macri to reactivate as soon as possible Argentina's economy, make Argentina
attractive to foreign investors once again by building confidence, give a big
impulse to education and innovation, another issue forgotten in Argentina; He
also must not forget the importance of the social side, which becomes the principal issue left behind
by right wing governments, Macri must
move to the center in order to cover enough ground in order to close doors for
populist Peronism to ever come back,
generating richness for the country is a must but he should not forget
the efficient distribution of it, and
another important issue, he must enable people thru education to become more
productive and to head towards innovation,
Macri's government, in case he
wins, must move forward from being a
mere supplier of raw materials and depend on other countries growth (in
Argentina´s case, China and Brazil), to
start developing added value products for the upcoming economy of knowledge.
The big
turn in Latin America is now, it starts today.
