The Dark Intellectual Network Vs. The Political Correction

It seems like a group of anti-heroes in a metaphysical graphic novel in the style of Alan Moore or Grant Morrison facing an intangible entity taking over the world, and that´s because the Political Correction increasingly becomes a gag before critical thinking and freedom of expression, "Save your opinion because expressing it might offend someone" seems to be the flag of political correctness these days, in the epochs of Soviet Russia we had those bureaucrats who among them were warning to keep their criticisms towards the totalitarian government of the USSR, not to demonstrate against the State or the Party, to have "correct" opinions (that were not against the supreme power, political) so as not to have problems that in those years were translated into being a victim of "purges" or being sent to a "gulag" to be "re-educated", nowadays "political correctness" remains a gag, but it has become a gag used by society against the same society, not to speak about making a criticism against the so-called minorities (of race, sex, identity, etc.), under the consequence of being accused of "incorrectness", this practice has turned into indifference that has prevented to take the behaviors of these minorities towards extremes bordering on intolerance.

And it´s precisely in front of this phenomenon (PC), that the so-called "Dark Intellectual Web" arises, formed almost spontaneously by philosophers, writers, mathematicians, psychologists, economists and even comedians, who have decided to raise their voices and face this wall of "political correctness", attacking controversial issues such as the progressive left, gender identity, racism, authoritarianism, religion, in a sort of crusade in search of the truth through the exercise of free expression that has been turned into a kind of confrontation "intellectual revolution" amid the shadows of irrationality, ignorance and intolerance, characters like Sam Harris, Eric Weinstein, Joe Rogan, Jordan B Peterson, or Dave Rubin have become a kind of persecuted heroes (following in the footsteps of a Richard Dawkins, Carl Sagan, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Christopher Hitchens or maybe even Karl Popper) for an "ethereal" fascist state" in the style of the novel The Watchmen (or the most commercial series of The Incredibles) by the legendary writer Alan Moore.

Comments such as "the experts are you" that emerged during the Brexit in the United Kingdom, became milestones of contagious and irrational ignorance, while gender identity have become pure dynamite for the fabric of society, contempt by the facts and data, by the reasoning, by the logic, that go beyond the Frankfurt School and the Critical Theory that went against the values of the West looking to subjugate cannibalize society itself, now, taken to the extreme, seeking to even destroy the same unit, the individual, who already seems to seek to identify itself irrationally with something non-human, a hostile environment that has turned DIW into subjects of harsh persecution in the world of social networks, a Harris (neuroscientist), openly atheist in a crusade against the fundamentalism of Islam or Christianity, or a Peterson denouncing a masculinity that seems to be disappearing in man, in the new "Illiberal" era, the "political correctness" has become the main instrument to hide in knowledge, to discourage the search for truth, under the banner of "humanism", denounced by writers like Jonathan Rauch who describe this as a new kind of "Quasi-dogmatic fundamentalism" that demands in a violent way not to be questioned or criticized, that demands censorship alleging the offense, which disguises itself as the victim being the executioner.

Our “skin” has become very thin, and without critical thinking and open mind society cannot keep moving forward, it is imperative to question and criticize us always in a constructive way, to break that gag of political correctness, not everything is written and everything is not defined, not everything is sacred and dogmatism or fundamentalism is extremely harmful, criticism will always be welcome when it is in order built, to improve, made in a reasonable, logical form and based on facts and data, only in this way we will face the intellectual debacle to which we seem to be headed towards.
